Jarvis vs Todoist
Todoist is a mature, fast to-do list with excellent capture, calendar sync and integrations. Jarvis is a planner that ranks your day across work and life, times your focus and logs where your time went. If you want a list, Todoist is hard to beat; if you want to know what to do now and how your week was really spent, Jarvis is built for that.
Choose Jarvis if you want
- A built-in Eisenhower matrix and a ranked day that uses it (Todoist supports the matrix through priorities, filters and a template).
- A Pomodoro timer attached to your tasks — Todoist points to third-party timer apps.
- Time logging built in, including by voice — Todoist relies on integrations such as Toggl Track.
- The running timer on your iPhone lock screen, with pause and resume.
- Meeting recordings turned into action items.
- A mentor or manager who can follow one area of your life.
- No subscription: pay only for AI work, with credits that never expire.
Choose Todoist if you want
- Two-way Google Calendar sync (and Outlook), which Jarvis does not have yet.
- A Kanban board view.
- Team workspaces with shared projects, roles and permissions.
- Android, desktop and watch apps today, and more than 80 integrations.
- Polished voice-to-task capture (Ramble) in many languages.
Price
Todoist has a free plan with limits (5 personal projects, a monthly cap on AI sessions); Pro costs $5 a month billed yearly or $7 monthly, and Business $8 per user a month billed yearly (todoist.com, checked 7 October 2026).
Jarvis is free to start with 50,000 AI credits; everything that is not AI stays free, and more credits cost $1 per 50,000 with nothing renewing.

Questions
- Is Jarvis a Todoist alternative?
- For people who want a ranked day, focus timing and time logging rather than a list, yes. For shared team projects, calendar sync or Android today, Todoist is the better fit.
- Can I move my tasks from Todoist to Jarvis?
- There is no importer yet. You can paste a list into Jarvis's capture, which turns it into tasks for you to accept.
